Lunaclan Short 1

Moonstar stood on the very edge of the mountain, the gentle breeze ruffled her gray pelt, and her ears seemed to want to fly off at any moment.
   She stared at the amazing view ahead of her, all the trees looked like tiny shrubs, and the pond looked like only a drop of water. The gray she-cat could even see the sunhigh patrol  with Larksong, Stonefrost and Lightingclaw, they all looked like tiny kits from where she was.
      "I did it! I caught a squirrel!"
The sudden voice made her jump. She turned around to find the excited blue-gray apprentice, Bluepaw, standing happily beside her with a plump squirrel in her mouth.
    "Good job, but next time don't yell, or their won't be anymore squirrels for you to catch." Mewed Moonstar smiling, half joking. She gave a small purr of amusement.
   "I want to give the squirrel to Tigertail!" Mewed Bluepawpaw.
Tigertail was a nursing queen, with four trouble-making kits.    
    "Then come on, lets get back to camp." Mewed Moonstar.
      The leader picked up a rabbit and two mice she caught earlier and she leapt down the mountain side with the eager apprentice close behind.
